Airline online booking – Terminal A

Posted by admin On August - 12 - 2008

Do you feel bothered about airline booking? Little airline informations, less preferential service and long time to wait. The reasons above force us to book airline online, which could get flight information easier, to say nothing of the price and service.

There are two types of site provide airline online booking:

  1. airline company: high credit and specialty, but limit choice
  2. travel agency: wide selection and cheap price, i.e. Terminal A

Terminal A is the biggest independent online travel agency in Europe, driving business in 18 countries. They have a specialized service for flight search and booking. They have integrated over 500 airlines and the main low-cost companies in every market. Due to world-class technology they are capable of providing the final user with the best and lowest fares possible.

When making a airline online booking at www.TerminalA.com, at step 5, you can check if your Booking has been confirmed and see the corresponding confirmation codes. After you have completed the purchase process at www.TerminalA.com, you will also receive a Booking confirmation e-mail including the same confirmation codes. If you stated that you would pay through bank transfer, the e-mail will include the information about the maximum payment term, usually 24 or 48 hours. If we don’t receive your payment within that term, your Booking will be cancelled and probably the fare will change.

After verifying your payment, you will receive a second e-mail confirming the issuance of your ticket and including the receipt and the ticket information.

VERY useful advices:

  • It is essential that you reconfirm your flight 24 hours before departure. This can be done by calling the airline company or http://www.checkmytrip.com (for location codes generated by Amadeus). The departure times may be modified by the airline companies.
  • You had better give them your mobile phone number, so they can contact you by SMS message, if necessary, due to payment processing problems, changes on the flights or other reasons.

Amadeus is a systems used by the airline companies to store all the information about flight tariffs, available seats and reservations made. The codes that identify your reservations and tickets are generated by one of these systems and provided to you by Terminal A Homepage.

I bought a return ticket from Termainal A 3 days before travelling from Frankfurt to London. It was the best deal on the net; 30 euros cheaper than the nearest rival agent. I needn’t have worried at all. Within minutes I received an email stating the reservation and that a second email would be sent to confirm the booking within 24 hours once my card had been debited. 3 hours later they sent me the second email with the airline’s (BA) booking reference. I entered this number into BA’s own website along with my name and up popped my itinerary. I was able to include my air miles, check-in on-line and pick my own seat. Will definitely use them again.
