The purpose and intention of the promotional items handed out at conventions by marketers is to make a lasting impression of their potential customers. Just imagine that you are walking the halls of a convention center and you approaching a booth where people are handing out small plush looking toys that are shaped like cars. The puffy shape and uniform design of the small toy bears the name of the company handing out the items and as you reach out to accept the puffy car shaped object you realize that it is not a toy at all. In your hand you hold an object that feels like a firm pillow wrapped in a plastic film. What you have just picked up from the convention exhibitor is not a toy, neither is it a small pillow, in fact what you have been given is a compressed shirt that has been molded to resemble a miniature car shaped pillow
