Sony has recently announced the DPP-F700, which is a multitasking digital photo frame that includes a built-in professional quality (300×300 dpi) 4×6-inch photo printer. Photos are showcased on a wide 7-inch display, and at any time you can use the “screen capture” option, which will print the photo that is currently being displayed during the slide show. Other features include: Photo Editing (crop, date stamp, brightness, contrast, hue, sharpness, etc.) Creative Print mode; create calendars, ID photos, and more Built-in card reader supports Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, Compact Flash, SD/SDHC/MMC, and xD-Picture cards Supports JPEG, TIFF, and BMP image file formats Creates bordered or border-less 4×6-inch photos in just 45 seconds Included remote control 1GB of internal storage capacity Auto-resizing feature downsizes images to allow you to store up to 2,000 photos The Sony DPP-F700 S-Frame will be available towards the end of January 2010 with a suggested retail price of about $200.
