It has been reported that Verizon are planning to make use this year’s Black Friday weekend, to launch a collection of handsets, aimed solely towards the smartphone market, an area the company are looking to gain a foothold in. That’s according to BGR , who have been told that Verizon are planning to launch handsets such as the HTC Passion, Motorola Calgary, BlackBerry Curve2 and of course, the BlackBerry Storm 2. The move won’t just occur over the Black Friday weekend, as we are hearing that Verizon are planning to release as many as 15 smartphones, starting from Black Friday all the way through December. Definitely exciting for Verizon customers. Mind you, you probably are still caught up in all the hype about the Motorola Droid
