During RIM’s BlackBerry Developers Conference RIM revealed that future BlackBerry OS versions will support OpenGL ES for 3D graphics acceleration, this should seriously broaden the horizons for their handsets. A video has recently been posted on IntoMobile (which can also be seen at the end of this post), the video shows the BlackBerry Storm2 running Need For Speed: Shift, the video is not the clearest but the graphics do look pretty impressive
