We have recently learned that shipments of the Nokia N900 have now started; this is the first Nokia handset to run on the new Maemo 5 software. The latest handset from Nokia will hit retail stores very soon in Europe and will cost about €500. The N900 has some tough competition, as it has been released around the same time as the Motorola Droid, not that sales have been that great. The Nokia N900 had its public launch back in August, since then fans of the N Series tablet have been waiting for the day until the tablet come phone is released, and that has now come.
