We have some good news for O2 customers now, as the company has revealed that they are planning a significant upgrade to their network next year – after pouring in over £500 million in investment during the last two years. As reported from Pocket-Lint , London will benefit from around 40 new data mobile hotspots by the end of this year, while the rest of the UK will see around 160 extra hotspots during next year. As many of you will know, O2 currently offer the Apple iPhone and Palm Pre, both of which are data-extensive phones, so this is great news for O2 customers who suffer from network problems in some areas.
