When a new product is launched, it is always at the expense of something else, this is just the case with the mobile OS market. We know that Windows Mobile is doing ok, but Symbian is not doing so well since the launch of Google Android. Samsung know that Symbian is beginning to fall out of favor; they could have offered more handsets running on Windows Mobile or Android but have chosen a different route. According to Engadget , they have learned from DigiTimes that Samsung have announced that they are dropping Symbian in 2010 and will be backing their in-house Bada OS.
