The wait is over, the Verizon Motorola Droid is finally here and your first chance to get your hands on the first Google Android 2.0 OS cell phone. We have been feeling the anticipation for a while now and the Apple iPhone has now got to flex its muscles to stay ahead of the game. The Droid is not going to dethrone the Apple iPhone, but it will certainly give it something to think about. Android has got a little tag team going on as the HTC Eris has also launched today.
