Since the launch of the Apple iPhone back in 2007 there have been a number of smartphones claiming that they could dethrone the ultimate handsets, but none of them have been able to do so. There is a new smartphone being launched that claims to be good and it is one that could very well begin the downfall of the iPhone, which is the Verizon Wireless Google Phone, or Motorola Droid. This is the first Motorola to come with the Google Android OS and the first Android to come to Verizon. The Droid will go on sale tomorrow in the U.S and after $100 rebate will cost $199 on a two-year Verizon service contract.
